In 2003, saxophonist Charlie Naked and drummer Vaughan Boone joined forces along with bassist Dan McMahon to become Fist of Kong. A "free jazz" trio playing spontaneously improvised music: free of preconceptions, premeditation, and overall, free of any thought given to creating what would & could possibly become very "heavy stuff" Though, (unfortunately) Boone left after about a year & a 1/2 with the group to pursue further endeavors on an island along the east coast, Naked and Dan continued to "Fist" alternately as a duo (currently as often as possible), while at the same time playing with other members of Houston's "vibrant" free improv scene, including trombonist Mike Switzer, guitarist Jim Otterson, keyboardist Robert Pearson, saxophonist John Atlas, violist Rose Lange, percussionist Tom Zermeno, cellist Melisa Rose, and many others (not as often as we'd like however) Alas! The duo of Charlie & I has (& will) self-release(d) millions of albums of their own music...which are always available through www.cafepress.com/charlienaked/....AND also some other misc. recordings including compilations, lo-fi limited-run tapes/cd-r's will & are available through Burntrecords@hotmail.com. write if you will, buy if you'd like. most likely i will just send you stuff at random (upon request of course) we hope you like what you hear and....stay tuned!

The artist was a Russian, streets of San Francisco. He took his time, maybe more to tell his story too. Or should I say outlook. He explained that the Jews invented the system of Credit. Since that time they have had us by the balls, even the monarchy was held by the throat. And they have maintained this tourniquet by running the Gold exchange since the beginning of time. Of course, being Russian he told me this news with constant fervent glances. His advice to escape the clutches was to never take credit. He was buying his house with cash...I do still have that portrait but not sure where- I would never make use of it other than to give it away and even that seems vain!
The flying boy is from a Parajanov film, Armenian master.
Haven't been doing much on the page, need to finish revamping it. And yes that youtube collection is endless, if you dig back to the early days you will find genius Gypsy clips...

recorded strictly on tape, twas recorded strictly within the confines
of my disgusting haunted garage full of dried dog poop, broken glass,
and bad memories.
yes I have resisted as well my friend...but the herd sure has some great videos Ha hHAA (I may be biased) ...maybe we'll have to count to 3 and take the plunge together one day. Ice cold or nauseatingly warm? hmmmm.... oh I met Aunt Kathy ( Uncle Jims ball and chain) and she was a real kick - wish you were there!
no shit! settled western civilization is no better, I was talking with a group of Gypsys last year. Two groups - the old school 'fuck all yall' and the 'we can work with them, lets get into the UN' Problem is the UN mandates are that you must own land to join. Well we Gypsys don't own land - we can't own land. God owns land. Earth owns land. land owners, civilization are imposters. So I said, if you really want to get into the UN then stake a claim out in the middle of the ocean, the minimum square meter and stake it as ours. Just let any country come and attack us or even find us for that matter - we are moving in the middle of the Pacific-- ha ha ! what could be more Gypsy than movement? They sort of laughed me off...but really - fuck all yall. ....HA hAaa....ooo c'est la vie!
Society? Society today is the same as 100 years ago from Gibran~
"God has given you a spirit with wings on which to soar into spacious firmament of Love and Freedom. Is it not pitiful then that you cut your wings with your own hands and suffer your soul to crawl like an insect upon the earth?"
Music is the language of the Spirits. The air that flows through the horns, reverberates between the strings, echoes from the hull of the drums, projects through the chords inside our throats, is the air that our Wings can soar upon. Birds are the keepers of music. Music turns us from a crawling insect to a bird in flight. Never underestimate the source of Music.
