FIST OF RAGE is a young Italian hard rock band. They cut their teeth in the first years by performing famous hard rock cover versions in the north-eastern part of Italy, in an energetic and positive style.
The band was immediately considered a top-quality band by audiences, and this is the reason why this band has a considerable fans. Encouraged by the small but important successes, the band felt the need to compose original its own music.
“Fist of Rage” is made up of: Piero Pattay vocalist, Davide Alessandrini and Marco Onofri on the guitars, Stefano Alessandrini on keyboards, Bruno Tagliapietra on bass guitar and Fabio Poian on drums.
Recently, Fabio moved to the United States to study music performance. The new drummer is Alfredo Macuz. All six members of the band play theirs instrument to their full potential to try to produce a rich and powerful sound.
Their name describes the philosophy of the band: away from commercial music and politics, the “Fist of Rage” are spokesperson of freedom, respect and love for the human race. Their lyrics talk about these concepts; they almost fight with modern day social-illnesses, such as money, power, heavy-handedness. They describe their inner feelings which are darkened by resignation and lack of logic in these times.
The themes of the lyrics written by the front man Piero Pattay were a good reason to search for new overwhelming sounds, to create a good mix between old and modern sounds. In this way the band has found their present sound, powerful and easy to listen to.
“Iterations to Reality”, recorded on May 2009 at New Sin Studio (Treviso), features all the band’s musicians, and stands as a proof of their commitment. The band members are very close and ready to face any kind of experience and possibilities offered by this album.




I FIST OF RAGE sono una giovane band italiana che propone un energico hard rock. Attraverso le accattivanti melodie disegnate dai testi del frontman Pattay il sestetto cerca di intraprendere la ricerca di sonorità originali, raggiungendo così un sound attuale, potente e di facile ascolto. Rapido.
Attivi nella zona del Friuli Venezia Giulia, nei primi anni di gavetta si esibiscono in un repertorio di cover vario. Suonando pezzi 70-80, vengono presto considerati dal pubblico una band di qualità, qualifica che li porterà ad avere un discreto seguito di fans. Rispondono bene anche alle prime composizioni inedite proposte al pubblico.
Spinti anche da questo, nel 2007 sentono il bisogno di dedicarsi esclusivamente a composizioni originali.
La line-up originaria è composta da Piero Pattay alla voce, Davide Alessandrini e Marco Onofri alle chitarre, Fabio Poian alla batteria, Stefano Alessandrini alle tastiere e Bruno Tagliapietra al basso. Recentemente il batterista Fabio, felicemente emigrato negli USA per motivi di studio, è stato degnamente sostituito da Alfredo Macuz.
La formazione cerca di sfruttare a pieno i sei elementi, orientandosi verso un sound ricco e potente. Il nome scelto è indice della filosofia della band: al di fuori dai concetti di musica commerciale e di politica, i Fist Of Rage sono portavoce di valori come la libertà dell’ individuo, il rispetto e l’amore. Nei testi parlano di questo, quasi lottano contro i demoni del nostro tempo: i soldi, il potere, le oppressioni, la frenesia della società; parlano di paesaggi interiori, offuscati dalla rassegnazione e dall’ illogicità legata al nostro tempo.
“Iterations to Reality”, questo il nome dell’album di debutto, è registrato nel maggio del 2009 al New Sin studio (Loira, TV), ed è frutto della collaborazione di tutti gli elementi della band, che si dimostra molto unita e pronta per affrontare qualsiasi esperienza questo album darà loro modo di vivere.
