Influences	Bloc Party, Interpol, White Rose Movement, The Postal Service, Editors, Eels, The Strokes and The Cure and Damien Rice are a few big influences and some other lovable gimps, such as Nick Drake, Ray Charles, Human League and almost Andrew Lloyd Webber.

About Fitzwilliam and The Spitfires

Fitzwilliam and the Spitfires were formed in June 2006, and despite various inaccurate press releases they have never been a three piece and don’t particularly sound like R&B or Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Initially playing rowdy house parties and villages halls across Norfolk the band took their indie-punk driven sound to the even rowdier venues of the county.

Making boys and girls dance alike where-ever they are heard. Their crowning achievements to date have been receiving international acclaim on the renowned website www.garageband.com and playing the Norwich Arts Centre to a sell out crowd in September 2007. Shortly afterwards singer Ben Wong temporarily left for Uni. And after the arrival and departure of Keyboardist Jack Toye, the boys have settled down to gigging whenever they all happen to be in the same place at the same time.

They continue to work on new material and sound like a dance riot at your local zoo.
