Over the past couple of years since they released Raised By Wolves, the line-up of Fitzgerald has gone through several changes. Fitzgerald had always been Nathan and Mandy Tensen Woolery. After the release of the album they swelled to up to nine people on stage, but eventually settled on four: Nathan, Mandy, Gilbert and Adam. As time went on, Nathan and Mandy began to concentrate their combined efforts on their new electronica project, Ghost In The Water (myspace.com/ghostinthewater). As it stands right now, Fitzgerald will be the solo outlet of Nathan. He's wanted to pursue these new songs for a while now, and this seemed to afford the best opportunity.

I just wanted to stop by to say hello and give you a little update on what Blood Root Mother is up to! We will be recording an EP of new music in August, and we recently finished recording a live DVD. The DVD is currently unreleased and I actually just saw it for the first time yesterday. It features the last two performances with Tony Ellis still alive, and some footage from the tribute show we played on the night of his funeral.
There are some cool covers, as well as some NEW music that will be on our upcoming EP. We're very excited about the new music and we'd like to share a sneak peak with you. Here's a video of a tune called Run Bobby Run:
