Sounds Like
Everything you could ever imagine in a song, with such epic proportions that if not played correctly, the bass drum with fuse into a black hole and destroy everything in a 100 yard radius.
5 Corners got its start 2 years ago under the name Twelve with lead singer Shane O'Connor, Guitarist Andrew Evren and drummer Max Humphrey. The name Twelve came from the age of the members at the time it was founded. Under this name they won the Church Talent Show and played at Charter Days in Granby.
Evren briefly left the band and that is when guitarist Jared Toschev joined the group. Evren soon came back and the band then changed its name to 5 Corners, (a well known intersection in the small town of Granby, which boasts this town's only stop light).
Now a 4 man group, 5 Corners played at the Arts & Crafts festival in Granby. 1 month later bassist Joey Grabowski adds his funk to the band and they play at the Granby High Talent Show taking 1st place.
After the departure of drummer Max Humphrey, 5 Corners recruits the talents of its now only female member Tessa Cote. With Tessa on the drums 5 Corners performs at the Church of Christ Talent Show, winning People's Choice.
The Band very recently competed in a Battle of the Bands Concert on May 8th. They lost (audience vote) by only 3 votes.
The band is played in their towns "Charter Day's" festival June 14. This was not a competition, just for entertainment.
In August band lost there co-guitarist Jared Toschev after he moved out of state.
If you have any ideas for gigs we would be glad to hear them!
Hey! I don't see an apostraphe in "Seems Like Everybody's Rushing For Red Lights!" Honestly, society is trying to kill the ' these days. Check out a band called Light The City! I heart them. :)
