Arizona's 500 Hats is a rock band formed in 1996 intent on creating a signature sound.
Experimenting with genres ranging from Classic Rock, Blues, Jazz and even a little Country, the band has recorded four original albums, and performed hundreds of sets in Arizona, as well as Illinois over the past twelve years.

An original band first and foremost, 500 Hats is a modern Classic Rock band in the sense that they write albums as opposed to singles in the spirit of the 1970's and 1980's Album Oriented Rock format.
Intentionally melodic with clever lyrical content but hard rocking as well, 500 Hats has developed a sound all their own, in a time when most bands are carbon copies of their favorite national acts.
Add to this mix over three hours of classic rock covers, and you have the recipe for one of the best bands the Arizona music scene has to offer.
