Five-Os are a rock / powerpop / indie band from Manchester, UK. Starting life in 1999 the three Bradbury Brothers formed the band aged 15, 13 and 11. After a few years playing the local gig circuit and recording demos in their local studio, they set off for bigger things. Playing support to; 4ft Fingers, and Tuuli, then most famously playing at the KC Stadium and the Britannia Stadium with International Rock Superstar Bryan Adams on his World Tour of 2004! This gave the band mass media coverage on BBC and ITV primetime TV and a UK tour of national radio stations playing acoustic sets live on air. This led to a slot on the Golf Records Tour later that year. They achieved sponsership deals with Fender guitars and Bernys clothing.
In 2005 the band self produced their debut album "Emotion Distortion" and released two tracks from this on a split ep with friends Smudge (animal farm records). A UK Tour then followed and the band signed a licencing deal with RENOMEE Music Agency.
2006 saw the band focus on re-recording their favourite songs from the album and putting them as a FREE DOWNLOAD on their myspace website! They toured the UK with; Chairmen Of The Bored (ex Hollyoaks star Ben aka Cameron), The Bedheads (now known as Our Innocence Lost), and Xms3.
GO KART RECORDS came across the band in early 2007 and signed them up to appear on their latest compilation cd "Pop Punks Not Dead". Playing a few shows across the year in London, Cardiff, Liverpool and Manchester the band focused mainly on writing new material for their 2nd album. Their song "Missed Out" was chosen to be used for an advert in the USA for the Homeboy clothing line
2008 and onwards brings Five-Os to the dawn of a new era. Their sound has changed from previous recordings, still keeping the catchy melodic vocal hooks and driving basslines but with the addition of a piano and electronic drum kit they hope to bring a completely new and refreshing sound to the UK rock scene. During May they supported Jonah Matranga and his ex band mates from Gratitude (universal records), Attention and also appeared at the prestigious International Pop Overthrow Festival in Liverpool. Their song "Last Summer" was also chosen as the main theme for the warner brothers online movie/tv show channel!

Scorpion Records has teamed up with Elygen to bring you the next great website for bands!
BANDARRAY.com
We're people in the industry/scene who understand what musicians and fans want. We're creating a place where music in the most important thing. Remember when Myspace was a cool place for band to be discovered? Now in 2009 it's basically nothing but bands adding bands! Not to mention tons of fans have moved on to facebook because of all the band spam! Yeah that's right, sorry to tell you kids, but the industry knows your numbers are the result of "friend blasters" and spending day and night doing random add's. No one is impressed! So, what will be the site that Facebook defectors and music fans search when they want to hear some music?

KING KHAN AND THE SHRINES Sun 4th Oct @ Stereo, Glasgow
We have just added ##THE BLACK RAT DEATH SQUAD## to the bill
Support comes from Jack of Hearts Uncle Big Bad
"Fusing the driving stomps of classic sixties soul with the muddy yet crunchy guitars and puerile words of garage rock, King Khan & The Shrines are one of those uncommon groups who seem to live in the past and still make an attention-grabbing noise. The Supreme Genius is a retrospective of their work this century from initial 45s through to the cleaner more sophisticated efforts of their last proper album, What Is?!. Soul is certainly a key ingredient in the Shrine's psychedelic stew, though purists would balk at describing the end product as one of their own ('filthy racket' being the likely response). Fans of the 'rock 'n' soul' pedigree stretching from the Kingsmen to The Make Up and The Black Lips, however, should be more accepting, as will anyone who likes their music loud and raucous" BBC Music
