Five Seven Five Music is artist/producer Marc Aiello. His musical journey started early, spending evenings as a kid pouring through his parents' Beatles, Tchaikovsky, Steely Dan, Jim Croce and Miles Davis LPs. So began the lifelong pursuit of a sound that weaves together the diverse threads of his early influences.
After spending his teenage years immersed in jazz performance, Marc found himself smack in the middle of a pivotal time in his hometown of Dayton, Ohio's indie music scene. Transformed by the frenetic and inspiring live shows from local heroes like Brainiac, Guided By Voices, and The Breeders—all of whom were hot on the trail of his musical vision—Marc strung up his Telecaster and began building his sound on an experimental indie rock foundation.
After regional (and nearly national) success in the late 90s/early 2000s as writer and guitarist with the indie-pop group parker ben parker, followed by brief stints doing Nashville session work, Marc continually strived to merge the experimental, the progressive, and the angular with pop structure and sentiment.
Through Five Seven Five Music, his independent record label and publishing company, and his band The Number Line, Marc creates original artist releases, production cues, and sample libraries that are at the forefront of a new breed of thoughtful indie-pop blended with electronic elements.
Thanks for the add at MySpace! I'm one of the founders of Musync a San Francisco based music licensing company. We've licensed tracks to Microsoft (XBOX), Google, Esurance, Honda, Adidas and more. Our goal is to become the largest site of this type; so if you know any good artists who would like to expose their music to our clients and hopefully earn some "found money", we can get them involved with a non-exclusive contract and help them, our clients, and Musync.
