I know you're all patiently awaiting for the new album - and it is on its way! Release date to be announced very soon, and as soon as you know when it's coming out, you'll get to hear it too.
Drop by my Myspace today and tomorrow and show love. This Tuesday, drop by my Myspace and I'll return it - new recordings and videos from the March 27th performance at The Nyack Village Theater. And here's a sweet deal you can't turn down... Any track you can get up to 1000 plays by April 28th (that's one week) I will gladly make available for free download. So if you like it, tell someone, post a banner, or just play it as many times as you can!

Thanks to everyone who I got to share this weekend with: everyone who came to shows, everyone I got to talk to, thanks to Nick, Alayna, and Jeff for putting me up for a night, Tanya and Carol for standing in the cold wind together, and special thanks to Melissa Anthony for sharing a set (which by the way, add www.myspace.com/melissassounds).
Also, find a spare 15 minutes to watch "The Poet" by Paul Pikarsky, which is streaming from my page and features potential Bright Lights and Colors demos. Also features some great acting by Corey Haye. You can add Paul at www.myspace.com/slamfistpaul.
Good to be home though, and I'll keep updating...

A bit of exciting news. This Friday, March 27 at The Nyack Village Theater, I will take the stage with Ryan, Benny, Jay and Adam, and we will play as a full band for the first time. The show will also be recorded for audio broadcast and video-taped for video-broadcast.
Also contact me about tickets for the Battle of the Bands on Sunday April 5!

A great deal of thanks to everyone who came out to Highland Mills, and to the wonderful woman who called AAA when I locked my keys in the car. Also a great deal of thanks to those who, in frigid cold, attempted to break into my car for me. It was great to sit down and talk with a lot of people, and I will do my best to get back to you as soon as I possibly can.

Last's night show went really well, so if you were there, thanks. I think we all had a pretty good time. Also, take a few minutes out of your weekend to check out Jesse Denaro at www.myspace.com/jessedenaro. He put on a great show last night, and Lord knows I'm picky. As for tonight, you can catch me and Tim Walsh in Hawthorne NJ - it's gonna be a great show.

JANUARY 21 2009
There is a rumor or misconception going around that I am playing a show tonight, Wednesday January 21st... which is false. The misconception came from a Facebook event invite to listen to new tracks here on Myspace - that was all that was covered in the message. I'm really looking forward to the shows listed so far, though - don't miss them!
We (Adam and I) are putting some final touches on our mix for
It Is Well That War Is So Terrible... I listened to the (almost) complete mix straight through, uninterupted, for the first time. To have in my hands what I've heard in my head for almost a year now, to see near-completion of the creative process, is all really rewarding. I think it's only going to get better from here on out.
See you soon though!

one. Hope you are enjoying the lovely new layout.
two. Some of you reading this may know Ryan Siss, who was the lead singer in The Breakthrough. We've been best friends since kindergarten, and I am sad to see the members of the band going their separate ways. However, the Siss lot currently renovated the attic into this awesome loft that we couldn't resist christening with some Weezer covers. We demoed "Photograph" for fun, and it is currently available for streaming.
three. You may not know Ryan Siss is currently a freelance, independent film maker, and currently works at Rollercoaster Studios in East Hanover NJ. Two songs, "Another Round For My Friends," and "Write a Song About It" were demoed for a recent short film he created and are now available for streaming. Sorry, they won't be on the new album. But they will help you pass the time while you wait.
That is all, as of 3:35am.

After a long hiatus of true maintenance of this page, a update is well overdue and much deserved for anyone looking for one.
A few months ago was the last real a update, a pretty basic announcement that an album was underway. It has been about a year since I wrote some of these songs, and you probably have heard a few of them already if you come out to shows earlier in the year. However, it has been pretty quiet since October, besides an awesome show in Hartford opening for Bayside, The Matches and Valencia. With help of a good friend Adam Berrios, we now have 98% of the tracking to the album done, with mixing on the way. I don't have a date yet for the album, spring maybe? As soon as I can get a track streaming I will, and there will be plenty of surprises as well.
For those of you wondering why I haven't played shows in forever, I'm sorry. It is very difficult to balance the whole undergraduate thing with the whole starving artist thing, and believe me when I say if I could easily shed one skin or the other I would. But now that the majority of the album's work is out of my hands, I will be playing more, and that starts in February with a couple shows lined up in NJ and NYC, and will go into March. I want to come back to CT, MA, PA and even northern NY too. I'll be booking with whatever time I have. (Of course any help with this process is welcome.)
Some updates, short updates:
Because of the formality of the booking process, anyone who wants to add me on a more candid profile should add me on Facebook. Also, you can get updates directly sent to your inbox as well as show information. For that, click

Any questions about booking, message here or email honorstudentbooking@gmail.com.
