Fixation is a 4 piece hard rock act from Sydney. The music is best described as melodic hard rock. Fixation aim at writing music that not only they, as a band enjoy listening to and playing but also music that the existing fan base will respond well to and new ears will adapt quickly to.
We don't slap a style on our music because our music grows with us and feeds off whatever vibe/situation or idea we have at the time.
Since forming in May 2003, Fixation have gigged solidly around the local Sydney scene making a name for themselves. They have supported acts such as' COG; The Spazzy's; The Camels; After the fall; INK, MM9.
With 4 demo's and a debut 5 track EP titled 'The Burning Silence' (released in May 2007) under their belt, Fixation aim to branch out in 2009- recording their second EP in May this year and touring Australia wide.
Fixation aim to build on their repertoire of songs and continue gigging and making a name for themselves.
