Sounds Like
Pretty much anything. We write in a variety of styles, including electronica, orchestral, rock/metal, ethnic/world and any combination of styles. We strive to write music to suit any project.
DUOtris Mobile...Binary Zoo's first ever Mobile & Blackberry title has been released by Magmic Games, a leading Mobile game publisher. Be sure to check it out!
FKD Reality (FKD being our last initials) are a music production trio aimed at producing hard-hitting soundtracks for games and films.
Aaron Frensley was originally recruited to Binary Zoo, a very small indie computer-game development team, back in 2004 to compose the soundtrack for DUO, the team's first game; a highly addictive 2D shoot-em-up.
DUO was released to much acclaim from the indie gaming world, and was featured in a number of magazines and made the front page of several gaming sites. In the wake of this unexpected success, Binary Zoo immediately started production on their next game, an arcade puzzle game by the name of DUOtris. Aaron was once again called upon to provide the original music for the game, and he in turn recruited his friend and fellow composer, Michael R. King, to help out with the soundtrack. This is how FKD Reality was formed.
In October, 2006, Danny 'DaZ' Dicks, a good friend of both Mike and Aaron and lead singer of the band eXus, joined FKD Reality as a vocalist and 3rd composer.
We are currently still writing music for all of Binary Zoo's games, which now include DUO, DUOtris, Mono, and Echoes, but we are also trying to extend our services to other game teams, filmmakers, etc.
