About me:
BEER SONGS FOR THE LONELY

Beer Songs is an intoxicated ramble of the Parisian streets. It is un-apologetic, surrealistic, funny, sometimes sloppy, and always full of life. It is a cry of loneliness and a cry of passion. It is meant to be read out-loud over a mug of beer, or two, or three ...

Professional Review:

BEER SONGS FOR THE LONELY, was recently reviewed by Leon Smith, Editor-in-Chief at the incredible LONE STAR ICONOCLAST.

Here’s the last paragraph of my first professional review:

“Of the 24 entries, four of which are subparts of a segment called Vacuum Dance, perhaps the most outstanding are "Her," "Fast Train," and, the most impressive of the lot, the poem listed under Vacuum Dance called "The Market" which is mesmerizing, gritty, and literally a work of art that extends universally beyond the realms of most contemporary poetry. This particular poem is a treasure that deserves a seat in future great works of literature collections.”

The complete review can be found here: The Review.

Thanks!

Thanks for the acceptance of my friend request, Needles. It is in all ways a pleasure to meet another storyteller. May the adventure continue. I believe you'd like Major Westfall as he tackles terrorists in HONOR DEFENDED as they attempt to attack the Washington State ferries. Let me know. May this turning of the Great Wheel of Life bring you many blessings. "Shell's snake drill lol"

That is the name of my last blog, please check it out ok? But you better read this first. It's kind of cute, like Shell's new drill.

Warning! Bitter food for thought.

Stop! here. If you can't swallow the truth.

Go! To my blogs, if you want to swallow some facts.

Have a great Sunday,

NIGHT SCHOOL
from Dangling In the Tournefortia

in the drunk driver's class
assigned there by division 63
we are given tiny yellow pencils
to take a test
to see if we have been listening
to the instructor.
questions like: the minimum sentence for a
2nd drunk driving conviction is:
a) 48 days
b) 6 months
c) 90 days
there are 9 others questions.
after the instructor leaves the room
the students begin asking the questions:
"hey, how about question 5? that's a
tough one!"
"did he talk about that?"
"I think its 48 days."
"are you sure?"
"no, but that's what I'm putting
down."
one women circles all 3 answers
on all questions
even though we've been told to
select only one.

on our break I go down and
drink a can of beer
outside a liquor store.
I watch a black hooker
on her evening stroll.
a car pulls up.
she walks over and they
talk.
the door opens.
she gets in and
they drive off.

back in class
the students have gotten
to know each other.
they are a not-very-interesting
bunch of drunks.
I visualize them sitting in a
bar
and i remember why
I started drinking
alone.

the class begins again.
it is discovered that I am
the only one to have gotten
100 percent on the test.

I slouch back in my chair
with my dark shades on.
I am the class
intellectual.

The Democrats and Republicans both are lying. Solar is one of their biggest. The truth is, it is the only source of electric we need. But it is free, and the rich don't make money from free. Here is a link, that tells how cheap solar panels are now a days. Or just punch these words (Cheap Solar Power) into your seach engine, for the truth we don't see on TV.

Hope you're doing well.

I'm editing A Demon Awaits, getting it ready for press. The book will be released October 15, so I'm in overdrive for the next two weeks. The early feedback is great and I've got a few events already lined up for the fall.

It's a great day here in NE. I might even have to hit the pool when my eyesight gets fuzzy from all the reading.

Enjoy your day!
