My main interest is keeping my kids safe and good. But I am a mom, so I had to go there... My "outside" interests are basically Music, Movies, Reading, anything concerning the paranormal, nature, and MUSIC!!!!
I could never list one band as a favorite. I go thru fazes in my listening pleasures. Right now I am in a Rock faze!! I love 3 Doors Down, Linkin Park, Seether, Nickelback, System of a Down, Matchbox 20, ColdPlay, Sublime, Eve 6, Goo Goo Dolls, and then I pull out all my old faves too, like AC/DC, Metallica, AeroSmith, and all those 80's bands!!!! (God I loved the 80's LOL)
Movies
I LOVE horror movies!!! But I also love a good tear-jerker. A classic comedy or an All-out action!!!! I love movies!!! My faves include, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, 50 First Dates, In the Cut, Resovoir Dogs, Four Rooms, The Harry Potter movies, Gothika, Practical Magic, The Craft, and probably more that I cant remember right now!!!
Television
My favorite TV shows are the CSI shows, with the original being the best. I watch Ghost Whisperer, Moonlight, Prison Break. I faithfully watched a few network shows like 24, Gilmore Girls, One Tree Hill, Without a Trace, Tru Calling. I loved Six Feet Under on HBO. And I watched The Shield and Rescue Me on FX. I watched Buffy, Angel and Charmed when they were on. I also watch Ghost Hunters and anything about the paranormal on Sci Fi. I watch football and NASCAR and hockey. I DO NOT LIKE reality shows or sitcoms.
Books
I basically read a select few authors: Dean Koontz, Stephen King, Terry Brooks, and VC Andrews. I love horror stories. I love to read fantasy. And VC Andrews writes about fucked up families, that is why I read her. The Dark Tower Series by King has to be my all time favorite that I have EVER read. The Shannara Series by Brooks comes in at a VERY Close Second!!! I am in the midst of reading The Wheel of Time series by Jordan and he is fast becoming a favorite author!
Heroes
I can honestly say that I dont really have any heroes. I adore my mom for the way she raised me and tried to teach me all that is good. But I try to be the best person I can, and do all that I can to help those close to me and any others I can touch. I can only do that and know that I am doing what I can!
