In 2004 Flamingo Recordings was established as a Dutch independent record label by DJ's Funkerman & Fedde le Grand and Producer Raf.
Their aim was to create a platform on which they would find a way to release their tracks without any compromises. They wanted to release House "a la Flamingo", "take no Shhh from any A&R!"
In a short period of time they established themselves in the international label scene with releases that would be licensed to partners such as Defected, Ministry of Sound & CR2 records. After a few good releases, they struck gold with the first version of Fedde Le Grand's "Put Your Hands Up 4 Detroit" & "Take No Shhh.."
Already a few records further down the line, more & more charts are filled with their bangers all around the world. Please check out our releases for a detailed overview.
Their future aim is to release tracks that are as fresh as they can be, with a new & always improving sound, and appealing to a large group of people without losing its underground identity!
