well this here is my one and only consolidated effort at what was once my escape form reality. i fell out for several years and without product or outcome. so i'm starting to regain what i should have done in the first place. some of the material is dated, i realize that, but rest assured new is on the march. i recorded extensively under my own moniker but never demonstrated those songs. these are most noticeable "honey pie", "no sunrise amongst the grey skies" and "burden" represent that period of cold colorado nights, staring at the waveform trying to get the 46th take just right. over-production was of no worry. the other is groove addicts material, there are two themes here one is the full band element of guitar, bass and drums. some of these tracks are harsh no doubt and do not make for easy listening but again it was punk in its truest form and may not sound punk but it was by the way of doing what ever we wanted. double kick assault and the ocean of cymbal crashes and the bastardising of the bass guitar combined with an acid head fury, songs like " the chicken song" (lyrics by aaron mcgraw) and "the rubberiffic rubber bug" run the gamut of punk, funk and suck. the other is the unvarnished sound of the two primary members these tracks are steeped in campfire smake and marinated in alcohol these times brought about "big railroad blues" "shes's gone" and the yet to be finished "porch swing".
after reading your very specific "about me," in which you discuss your songs, I now realize my previous comment was stupid. maybe stupider than this comment.
