Since Flatrate’s conception in early 2005, the band has had great success throughout the Minnesota and the Midwest music scene. Flatrate is a modern rock band out of Minneapolis, Minnesota, playing both original and cover songs. From the bands first live performance they knew they had a great sound that would grasp the attention of the audience.
Flatrate has had numerous milestones over the last four years including:
The writing and recording of their first album titled, Drained. They’ve played and continue to play, local radio station, 93X Rock Nights at top venues throughout the Twin Cities. The band performed at the 93X Snow Job in 2008, as well as, the Miller High Life “Rocking the High Life” concert series. They have been the opening act for several national recording artists including Seven Mary Three and Psychostick, and have shared the stage with many local artists.
The members of Flatrate have participated in multiple community service programs including volunteering at the 35W Bridge Collapse, The American Cancer Society, and Families-In-Need Benefits.
The bands success has kept them moving forward in the pursuit to satisfy their internal love of music. Through an energetic live rock show and a set list that will captivate the audience, Flatrate has proven themselves as one of the best up-and-coming bands in the Midwest.
