I'm a Venezuelan left-wing-oriented noise musician living in Japan, I found your Smash the Octopus! cd a long time ago in a London second hand shop, and just recently I decided to research about your history and message and I was very happy to find out what you guys stand for!!
I found your blog entry about the Tibetan situation VERY, very informative and well put together! I'm Buddhist myself but I have never understand why religious leaders strive political power and that includes, sadly, the Dalai Lama too. I had always been confused by the US support of the Tibetan "liberation" and found it very suspicious but never read or saw a well explained relation, Thank you very much!
I really admire, apart from your musicianship, the ideological and artistic take on the social struggle for true freedom and thus I emulate it in my own way and means! Keep the good work, I'm looking forward to the Otomatik attak release!! Keep it up!
