    Someone just told me that they took the loop out of Son Of Beast in Kings Island... Sure as shit, they were right!

    At the time of its introduction in 2000, Son of Beast was the only wooden roller coaster in the top 10 categories (worldwide) that are dominated by steel-based coasters for track length, height, speed, and drop. It was also the only wooden roller coaster to feature a loop, which was removed in 2006 after an incident in which 27 people were injured.

    I swear to god there's one of those stores that has the word "thrift" on their sign, which is why I called it a thrift store that one time... I purposely made sure to say "outlet" in the bulletin though so you wouldn't bust my balls, but to no avail!

    PS - Two weeks from now, we'll still be at Cedar Point screaming our asses off!!!

    I know Kings Island seemed kind of "meh" the last time we went minus the Beast, but it looks like it's become a really good park since then. They have a flying coaster (Firehawk) and now the Diamondback, which looks pretty awesome.


    I've got the vacation days available. (I haven't even requested off yet anyway...) But I don't know about Tim.


    Worst comes to worst, it's only 5 hours away. We could just go some weekend. They used to have a twilight deal, but I just checked and they don't seem to anymore.

    This is the new hypercoaster at King's Island called Diamondback.
    It actually looks pretty wild! It's 230ft tall, and all of the hills are over 100ft! I asked my friend Brandon in Cincy how it was and he said it made him want to black out the whole time hahaha
