School of Rock, Orange County, King Kong, The Cable Guy, Shallow Hal, I know im missing heaps but iv been here ages already and they'll all end up appearing further down anyway. Rocky I, II, III and IV nobody likes rocky v and i must say i was disappointed by rocky vi (he didn't train hard enough, he lost & there were just way too many shameless references to all the other rockies that all the non-hardcore fans wouldn't have noticed but to a true follower just cheapened the whole expoerience. i could go on for ages). Snatch, Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, Mean Machine. 12 Monkeys, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and other projects of Terry Gilliam (still haven't seen Brothers Grimm). Television
ABC Kids, Agro's Cartoon Collection, Cheez TV.... the three cornerstones of my upbringing. Samaurai Pizza Cats, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (neither was a rip-off of the other), X-Men, Spiderman, Sonic the Hedgehog, The Smurfs, Scooby-Doo, Widget the World Watcher, Captain Planet, Count Duckula, Adventures of T-Bag and T-Shirt, Danger Mouse, Mighty Mouse, Wonder World, Monkey Magic, Happy Days, The Goodies, The Adventures on Tin Tin, Sesame Street, Play School, Romper Room (which i didn't ever want to go on until i was too old), Bananas in Pyjamas, Puddle Lane, Charlie Chalk, gumby
The Smoggies, Fireman Sam, Postman Pat, AstroBoy (i loved his bum guns), Thomas the Tank Engine, The Trap Door, Banana Man, He-Man, Conan the Barbarian, Animaniacs, The Big Knights, Pokemon (i got caught up in a bad scene, all the cool kids were doing it), Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, Beetlejuice, Fat Albert, The Big Breakfast with Tim Bailey, Gladiators, Goosebumps, Angry Beavers, Cat Dog, Aargh! Real Monsters, Ren & Stimpy. Lift Off, Ship to Shore, Ship to Shore 2, Round the Twist. All the Looney Tunes: Merrie Melodies and 101 Rabbit Tales & that were there too. Good times. As I've matured, however, so too has my television palate.
Of course there's been THE SIMPSONS, without which I don't think I'd be the amazing person I am today. Then there's the other stuff that fills in the gaps between when TEN isn't showing it. Being a child that's grown up without any form of pay tv you may find my experiences limited but if that's the case screw you, i am not a performing monkey. Absolutely Fabulous, Now and Again (I think I am the ONLY person who ever watched/liked that show), Charmed (early days), Hey Hey It's Saturday (I dabbled) South Park, Family Guy (which is really fucking brilliant and swiftly replacing the simpsons), American Dad (which is a little less so), Mythbusters, Little Britain (series I and II), Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law ("Objection!" "Overruled"... cheeky eyes), The Young Ones, Monty Python's Flying Circus, the mighty boosh, Spicks and Specks, Coupling, The Office, Red Dwarf, Smallville, Lost, The OC, Top Gear, Wheel of Fortune, Temptation, Bert's Family Feud, Scrubs, Arrested Development, The Adventures of Lano & Woodley, RAGE. And I love stumbling accross secret treasures on late night tv when you come home pissed or upset or both. Im also a sucker for Danoz ads. I don't buy anything from them, i just end up watching them until they're finished and wonder where the last 28 mins of my life went. I think I've watched the Magic Bullet one about 20 times. Anatomy for Beginners, Broken News. I also get sucked into watching those late-night game shows with Hotdogs and shit hosts of that nature and lame people calling in, giving answers that'v already been given 13 times before, trying to win money. NBN and TEN in direct competition. I dunno why it is, I just can't look away. moonlighting, the IT crowd, extras, happy tree friends, harvey birdman, aqua teen hunger force. i just love [adult swim]...
Books
"Books... Old and new!" These are actually authors, not books. So don't go looking for them. Douglas Adams, Graeme Base, JK Rowling, RL Stine, JRR Tolkien, Tony Hendra, Eric Idle (along with all the other Pythons), Ronald Jones, Stephen Hawking, Bill Bryson, DBC Pierre, Chris Turner, Sandman...
Heroes
Todd Russell, Brant Webb and Sophie Delezio. oh, and these guys.
and ricky gervais, i'd have him over for christmas lunch. he's a legend & if you don't think so, you're probably old, disabled, foreign or otherwise and you can just fuck off.
About me:
hi, i'm faz & i'm a humble buckler, working away on my belt buckles. it's pretty cool, like having a trade... except i'm not making any money out of it... and the skills (and i use the term loosely) involved aren't transferable to any other application. but check them out in my pics anyway, some of them are for sale & there's more i haven't put up there. message me about prices, i'm sure we can figure something out. if you've been directed here by my business card, i apologise. it isn't very good.
oh, and i'm a bit of a sneaker fiend.
Who I'd like to meet: i'm oficially re-naming this section "shit you should get onto" and therefore you should definitely get onto the mcfly 2015 project.

Oh God, I just got on a creative roll thinking about all the bitchin’ things you could make clocks out of. You know how Spotlight sells those cheap, shitty clock movements? I don’t know how much torque those things have… I’m gonna go ahead and assume not much but I’m going nuts thinking about all the money I could extort out of those Glebe types! Anyway, it has distracted me from the disappointment that was the moss jewellery. Ahhh, I need to get to a Spotlight and a Newcastle op shop stat!!!
