Our clogging family has just lost a dear family member and friend - Richard. He is husband to our treasurer, Kathy; father to Chris and Tom; brother-in-law to Bob and Andrea; and friend to all.

Richard has spent the last year and a half battling cancer. It's been a tough road for him and Kathy. He is at peace now, but he will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

One thing anyone should learn about working with people - is always make everyone feel welcome. Make a place for them. Everyone wants to fit in and be a part of a group of others. Makes you proud and gives you reason to strive.
Melbourne's Friday Fest is like a $50.00 mink coat sale at a department store. Everyone is all about themselves, it doesn't matter about anyone else. You get run over, pushed, displaced, ignored, and you have to fight with everyone around you - everyone in your sight. The alcohol is fuel on a fire...
We just made the decision that we no longer wanted to be a part of this fiasco. It is not what we are all about. So, that is how I feel about it.
sorry to hear of your aggrevation but totally agree, the horse & carriage does not feel welcome there anymore either and we were part of those beginning festivals!!!
