Fleshwound formed in late 2006 with a few songs already written by Zimmer & Pettit the guys set out to record the 1st cd F.U.B.A.R. in 2007 then in the summer of 2008 they recorded Till It Bleeds. Plans are on for the third album in late 2009......FLESHWOUND'S approach to song writing is about the song as a whole,it has to be memorable, its about life experiences and everything that makes us what we are whether it be about politics our drug problems ,,These are our internal WOUNDS..... FLESHWOUND Is a metal/Hard rock band out of northwest Ohio & is an in your face up front band banging out melodic vocals and heavy catchy riffs with the radio ready hooks.When asked......The band has been written about in several magazines including Cleveland at Home,Star pulse and today.com saying (These guys shred).

In short, the album will feature a mix of up and coming and established rock artists from the hard rock genre, including current/former members of Aerosmith, Guns Nʼ Roses, Heart, Fuel, Mountain, Alice Cooper Band, L.A. Guns, Warrant, Steelheart, Ozzy Osbourne Band, Badlands, Ratt, Slashʼs Snakepit, MC5, and others to be announced shortly.
The compilation will also be sold via I-Tunes, and 60 other online retailers. The album's release will be advertised in major rock market magazines, and each participating band will be included in all promo press, etc.

Fleshwound and Enigma Code(from England) set off on a 7 day tour of North West united states hitting IL,WI & MI.Fleshwound learned & played Enigma Codes songs for the lead singer so it was more cost effective for the tour.
