I LOVE SCI-FI. I've watched every single episode of Star Trek made in all seasons, am addicted to Stargate SG-1 (can't believe its ended!) and Atlantis...then there's Battlestar Galactica, 4400, Threshold, Farscape, Lexx, Firefly, Andromeda.....ok, you get the idea.
Also love ice-skating, poetry, horror films, comedy films (not too cheesy though) devouring books like there's no tomorrow, am getting into the whole data-storage engineering thing too....
And of course, lets not forget those wonderfully graceful aircraft of yesteryear (I'm talking anything up to about 1950) Today's aircraft are very functional, very fast, very high performing, as of course were these at their heyday...but there's just something about seeing a 1911 triplane fly, or hearing the roar of a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine....*sigh* :)
Music
General music interests - Classical music is my favourite, there is something in that genre for every mood (in my opinion anyway) love anything with a strong guitar in it - Joe Satriani is AMAZING, Jethro Tull is good for those mellowed out times when you need a strong focus, Michelle Branch is groovy as is Fiona Apple. There's also a band called Mary Lee's Corvette which I love (they aren't that mainstream in the UK yet, but played a gig in London a few years back; got the CD, became hooked)
Movies
My alltime favourite film has to be Brief Encounter. Love it.
Love my horror films, especially the psychological ones - they make my nightmares more structured.

I'm currently getting into exercise classes at my local leisure centre...well it's taken me long enough! I'm 26 and am just starting a new job. I live with my husband Dan, who's a web developer. I love writing poetry, reading most sorts of books, listening to various types of music, and watching sci-fi. And I seem to be collecting European languages....

I have replaced Vincent! Check out criminal minds - don't know their actual names but agents Reed (for his brain) and Morgan (looks) - the two togther - wow!!
Burger King over Macky D's thats just wrong! However, Mac Donald's has gone down hill since they did away with the super size and introduced those salads.
