About me: Flickerpix is an animation studio set up by Belgian-born Joel Simon which produces TV series, short films and commercials with an emphasis on strong character animation.
Based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, since 1999, we work with talented people from all over the world and undertake the entire production process in-house, from storyboarding, and shooting the animation on digital stills cameras to adding backgrounds and effects with Adobe After Effects.
We´re currently touring the film festival circuit with HORN OK PLEASE, our 4th animated short to date which has won over ten awards, and has been seen at over 30 festivals.
We're also shooting the second series of a ten part animation series for BBC called "ON THE AIR"
