Flight Approved Records was conceived in 2001 as a means to release the Pteranodon material recorded by Jeff Suthers and Shannon Stein. Since then, many other recording projects and bands have emerged and Flight Approved has grown with them. Flight Approved's current roster includes BRIGHT CHANNEL, PTERANODON, VOLPLANE and the various side projects of those members (MOONSPEED, WITCHCATCHER and JEFF SUTHERS' solo acoustic work). Stay tuned for new music, coming soon!

Ode to Flight Approved:
The stairs narrow and steep
Open to the labratory
No such thing as sleep
Sculpting sound exploratory
Whishing Tascam
Glowing Monitor
Jeff with a crazed spark in his eye
Tidal wave of sound: a small room
But we swim in the waves
And play
Suddenly I have a new favorite record label! Thanks for putting your older material out there. Everything I've heard Jeff Suthers and Shannon Stein do I've loved so I look forward to many releases from the Flight Approved family. Now all I need to do is finally get all the Bright Channel pictures out to you.
