Emerging into the music scene by way of a full U.S. tour, the Boston based quintet Flight Patterns is a refreshing blend of pop rock in the Massachusetts music scene. The band is composed of past members from several local acts and maintains roots in a wide variety of influences. Guitarists Michael Sweet and Max Prussner provide dual harmonies along with bassist Shane Perry's backing support. Finishing the lineup is synth player Scott LaChapelle and drummer Brian Bruzzi.
Although the band has found an impressive jump start, their work ethic and motivation is unparalleled with others in the local music scene. After writing and recording an EP during the summer of 2009, the band moved into a practice space and mastered their set six days a week.
Their debut EP titled "The Runaway" contains catchy lyrical hooks and guitar riffs that continue to play in listeners heads long after the album ends. The album, released on Deep South Digital, is available at shows and for download on iTunes.
2009 contains big plans as the band tours across the United States and Canada for two and a half months.
