Mendle Orion is a writer who lives at the intersection of fiction and reality. He dreams about true love and is desperate to believe in the dreams that the real world denies.
The man's life is forever changed the day he finds a soulful young woman with intense blue eyes and total amnesia disoriented in his hotel bathroom during a science fiction convention. The earnest, open-faced young woman mysteriously and innocently responds to people, speech, and things around her as if she were seeing the world for the first time. It's love at first sight for Mendle, who is convinced there's an uncanny resemblance between the girl and a character in the story he is writing. He protectively takes the disoriented girl in, and names her AIRA FLIGHT, after the light being superhero in his latest book.
Each day Aira discovers the urban world around her: crime, war, poverty, love, nature, music, food, laws, fashion, and video games. Her naiveté, compassion and honesty are very special, but most shocking is the discovery that she has no navel.
As Mendle falls more in love with the stranger every day, he also notices that the book he has been writing begins to unfold as coinciding realities in his life. He struggles to sort out his fiction from reality. When the young woman begins to recover her memory, it is eerily what Mendle has been writing.
Then, she begins showing signs of superhuman physical abilities and genius intelligence. As missing pieces of the past fit together and the girl's real identity is revealed, the clues investigated lead to more unexpected discoveries, and it's just the beginning to a truth that reaches beyond the stars...

People who make music should be so dysfunctional they can't string a tour together without being molly coddled the entire time, let alone play every money spinning festival on the circuit to an inane and rapturous response...
Currently, there's a plague of bad professionalism in music. The whole game is being high jacked into becoming a badly over organised circus, run by sensible, well balanced people with degrees in Music Management - people who love to balance books and run marketing campaigns as used by their new media friends for selling boxes of washing powder...
Maybe this is a good thing??
Maybe the world is alright now because we have disposable everything and no ideology other than SPEND SPEND SPEND!
Maybe people don't need to vent any more??
Maybe the world's got better and we should be simply happy with that and accept that music will decline...??
But that's clearly not the case, it's just that people are far better trained and controlled nowadays to be happy with what they're given...
