| | Music | Wide and varied interests in this section. Christian Rock, Celtic, (a little country, but mostly in the form of the old folk songs), some Classical when I'm in the mood, and of course Rock and Roll from the '70s and 80's! I find myself listening to some Styx and Journey once in a while, but believe it or not, my favorite music comes from "The Lord of The Rings Trilogy"! I think Howard Shore's work was genius! | | Movies | So Many that I like, From "Forest Gump" to "Fantastic Four"! Again, my interests are wide and varied, but my favorites are "The Lord of The Rings" Trilogy, and "Second Hand Lions"! ('Course I also have a fondness for the Superhero movies that come out. I suppose I never quite grew up.) | | Television | Well, in the evenings I watch the "CSI" programs, "Invasion", "Supernatural", Numbers" and "Without a Trace". In the day, I watch the Christian News Broadcast by the 700 Club, as well as local newscasts. I also watch "Prophecy in the News", "Perry Stone", and "Jesse Duplantis". I also like to watch a lot of PBS programs about nature and science. | | Books | The Bible!! Next, "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer", "Huckleberry Finn", "The Hobbit", "The Lord of The Rings", "Aesop's Fables", "The Arabian Nights", and any of the Sherlock Holmes stories. As a kid, the comic books I collected were "Spiderman", "Fantastic Four", "The Avengers", "The Defenders", "The Hulk", (and I'm sorry to say "Dr. Strange". Yes I was fascinated with mysticsm in those days). | | Heroes | First of all, JESUS CHRIST!! To pull Life out of Death! That is just sheer POWER!! Then, the Prophets and Patriarchs of The Bible. Next, Saint Patrick, Saint Nickolaus, King Arthur, Tolkien, and Goerge Washington among the the real figures. Among fictional characters, they would be Gandalf, (not because he was a wizard, but because of his wisdom! 'sigh' Tolkien could have made him a prophet instead of a wizard. He was soooo close!), Zorro, Tom Sawyer, Jack Sparrow(although he was a pirate), Jean Luke Picard, and among the superheroes, Spiderman, The Human Torch, Iron Man, Batman, Flash, and The Green Lantern. About me:
(Oh Boy! Here's where I get to gossip about myself, huh? Well, don't tell me I said this about myself, but..........'oops', speak of the devil! I'll just have to tell you the juiciest gossip about me when I'm not around) Anyway, I'm a Christian and I've been married to a wonderful woman for almost twenty six years, and am a father of three great kids who are now grown. I'm creative, and easy going, but powerful emotion lurks beneath the peaceful surface. I also produce two online comics. The first is a fantasy comic I've heard described as Tolkien meets Elf Quest. It's entitled Lost Legends of Whoelterran . The other is an anthro spoof of superheroes and villians. It's called When Foxes Fly . I also have a lot of artwork posted at My DA page !
