Back in 2006, Ferdi Salim started to develop a sleeping disorder in which he was constantly awake from 12AM-4AM. Having nothing better to do during those “zombie hours”, Ferdi decided to mock around again with GarageBand on his Apple Macbook.
Hence, the songs are produced.
Initially, the project was called Six Feet Under (http://www.myspace.com/sixfeetronica). However, in January 2009, Ferdi decided to change the project name to FL!M (Ferdi's eLectronIc Music or short for Ferdi saLIM), since Six Feet Under is a metal band from U.S.A.
FL!M has been reviewed by a music blog from UK (besttuna.blogspot.com) --> http://twitpic.com/ia2oy. Also, FL!M’s songs has been played in 2 radio stations in Jakarta (101.4 Trax FM & 90.8 Oz Radio)
