FLINTFEST 2007, SATURDAY, AUGUST 11TH
Reckless Entertainment and Blackstain Productions will be again hosting the 2nd Annual FlintFest Music Festival, the first Saturday in August. This event will take place at Kearsley Park Pavilion from Noon-10PM. We will have 16 local bands ranging from classic rock, alternative, heavy metal,punk. There will be something for everyone! This is an all ages show.
Flint Gear Grinders will be hosting a car show that will feature the best of all categories and everyone at the show will get to vote for their favorite car.
We will be having a vendors with food, soft drinks and water(no alcohol), all the bands selling their merchandise,Donny of Who's Your Donny Tattoo Co and Steve from Big Gunz tattoos will be doing piercings & tattoos.
There is a playground behind the pavilion for the kids. We want this to be a family event.
We will have coverage from the Flint Journal, Uncommon Sense magazine and various TV channels and will be advertising with 101.5 Banana radio. Tickets are $10 for the whole day, kids 12 and under will be free. FlintFest 2006 was great. 2007 will be even better... We will be changing the day to a Saturday which will give us more time for more bands.
FlintFest will be having Juan owner of El Nopal's to be the food vendor again. He will have everything from hot dogs to tacos. There is so much in the works for this year that I have only hit a few things.
