Hey, it's Mike A in LA! Thank you for visiting *My*Space! I'm a DC area native stuck here in the west coast for a bit.
Yes, I can freely admit that I'm a bit *old* to be spending so much [as in a lot of] time MySpace! I've been on here for a couple of years or so and made a lot of converts along the way. It keeps me happy and out of trouble ... most of the time. I can also say that I've had a colorful life. I have definitely gone on that long and tough road complete with loads of ups and probably even more downs along the way. It's all good, though, I think I'm finally back on the right track. Recently, though, I've lost touch with a lot of folks out there and misjudged others. My family and (true) friends included. For that I'm sorry. I'm working on it ... trust me!
What else??? I used to be in the airline biz. I'm not exactly sure why I left, but I wanna go back!!! Maybe one day. I'm just your average (gay) retail bitch for now. I am still trying to find a niche out there somewhere. It's out there - I KNOW IT! Ha! LOL. I really miss home (DC) and all of friends that I left behind. I'll eventually come back. In the meantime, I'm just taking it one step at a time.
Who I'd like to meet:
Fun and happy people - that's for sure. I was always the shy and somewhat sheltered type while growing up. As I've gotten older I've broken out of that shell big time. It's quite evident from my *friends* list that I'm WAYYYYYYYYY into music (DJ's especially)! I'm just a die hard fan. Never mind the fact that I bordered on (silent) stalker status with DJ Paulo in 2005. I think actually traveled across the country for him and attended about 7 of his gigs (all the while not even saying, "Hi!"). Hey, at least I'm not one of those crazy stalkers, right??? But what I do, though, is write post-party sketchy e-mail thank yous and critiques. Weird, huh? They always write back though! :-)"THE DOOR" - Alan T.
