Sounds Like
The long, improvised jams of the Grateful Dead, with Funky riffs and hooks reminiscent of The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and simple song structures that bring you to mind of Tea Leaf Green
Floating World started on September 22, 2007 with a jam session between Chris Corsico and Chris Connelly. The two knew the ability they had to play with each other was natural, and spent the rest of the day playing improvised jams. The Chris's then recruited bassist Ian Brady to come aboard, and from there, the trio spent their rehearsal time jamming and working on original material. Floating World played their first show in March of 2008 at Nonnewaug High School's Denan Concert Benefit, where their set included their first original,"Right To Be Free" (No Longer Played), and a short list of covers popular from the Guitar Hero Franchise. Soon after, they spent a long time searching for a lead vocalist, something in which they failed at after two attempts, and Chris Connelly decided to take over on vocals. The trio decided to try the "Power Trio" direction, and remained one for five months, until Gunnar Wrinn was added to the line-up as Keyboard, Vocals, and Guitar. Soon after, Ryan Keilty was added to the line-up as Bass, Vocals, and Guitar.

Haha thanks man. I'm still in shock on how good your guys' Break On Through cover is. It sounded just like the Doors. Your guys originals are awesome too. They remind me of The White Stripes, except with a way better drummer lol.
