russ the guitarist for flrbrd. has moved to another project the band "hogfuel".
he was the first guitarist for Floorboard and has been for approx.3 years a huge part of the sound we all came up with. he's a great guy, great guitarist and a great song writer. i've learned alot from this cat, remains a friend to me even after the last show with him at the tonic which happened to be one of our best, considering the lack of practise for the whole band.i'll miss those song's of his,"kamakazee army" still one of my favorites even after playing it at least 100 times.
i plan to go to hogfuel shows and roadie for those cat's whenever wanted.
i hope that flrbrd and hogfuel can be on the same bill in the near future as soon as we can find a guitarist to take russ's spot. as a matter of fact everybody in hogfuel has been a part of flrbrd.
in one way or another for example jerry the bassist for hogfuel was the singer for flrbrd for a good year and some change.chris (cracker) has also helped in singing in the band and rudy has filled in for me,at the last arnada show some time ago.
