The Florida Animal Friend license plate will help stop pet overpopulation... The funds raised from the sale of the license plates will be used for spay/neuter programs across the State of Florida... At present, approximately 800,000 dogs and cats are killed each year due to overpopulation... -> Every day in Florida, 2,191 homeless pets are killed.-> Every hour in Florida, 91 homeless pets are killed.

Florida Animal Friend will receive $25.00 for each spay/neuter license plate that is purchased (and renewed each year!). These funds will be used exclusively to fight cat and dog overpopulation by increasing spay and neuter surgeries in the State of Florida. This means that grant monies are not used to replace funds currently being spent on spay/neuter, but to overall increase the numbers of animals sterilized. No more than 10% of Florida Animal Friend funds shall be used to develop and implement a statewide education program about the importance of spay/neuter, promotion of the Florida Animal Friend license plate, and administrative costs. ..

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Michael Vick is in talks to become the new
spokesman for PETA.
The disgraced one-time NFL superstar
serving prison time for funding an illegal dog-fighting ring is primed to do
public-service ads for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals upon his
release later this month. According to three people with knowledge of the
matter, the proposed endorsement is part of a comprehensive PR scheme aimed at rehabilitating the quarterback.
Other image-changing moves
That's not all Mr. Vick will do to try to rehabilitate his image. People
with knowledge of his comeback plan said it will also include mea culpa
TV interviews, PSAs and charitable donations to other animal-rights
organizations (or perhaps the formation of his own foundation), along
with the possibility of working with PETA. But this might be the mother of all PR jobs. Mr. Vick's obstacles are many: a hard-line NFL commissioner who wants to see "genuine remorse" before reinstating Mr. Vick to the league; individual franchises that might be wary of the backlash and potential damage to their brands from signing Mr. Vick; and an incredulous public that remains shocked by the story.

Any Hatred Toward People or Animals Is a Fine Line.
On September 8th, 2009, Cowhead caused an outrage when promoting B.S.L.. Cowhead was promoting animal cruelty to his public. This will not be tolerated! while it was said by one person that the teeth should be removed, they claim it was a joke.
He also stated Pit bulls are an abomination from hell, and they should never exist in the first place. On that monday, Cowhead also stated you will never hear of a pit saving a child, they terrorize instead. He is miss informing the public and we are afraid this is going to contribute to a rise in animal abuse, especially for pits.
