Hi, I am Mike a volunteer with SHARE! The Self-Help & Recovery Exchange.
We hold over 80 different kinds of self-help meetings a week & we are opening a new facility located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles.
We are looking to get the word out that we need people to start meetings, help us to build meeting rooms and donate building materials, including dry way, lumber, paint, carpet or linoleum, furniture, ceramic coffee mugs, clothes, and stationary. Anything & everything you want to donate we would greatly appreciate.
We have all kinds of meeting- AA, CA, NA, DA, OA, SAA, and many more- any kind of problem you have, we will have a loving & supportive environment in which to hold a self-help support meeting.
We are also housing a Clean & Sober Valentines Day dance Feb 14- 09 from 7 pm to 1 AM Suggested donation is $3.00 Half off for newcomers & sober living tenants.
We also have a collaborative housing program that helps people find affordable housing & insuring the owner they are going to get a premium rate for there property. If you know anyone dealing with foreclosure or an extra property they want to get $1000 per room 2 to 8 bedroom houses needed.
