The South-Florida Christian Homeschool Prom is a formal event, which includes: Live Entertainment, Dancing, Keepsakes, Gourmet Sit-Down or Gourmet Buffet Dinner, Open Non-Alcoholic Bar, Dessert Island, Tribute to Graduating Seniors, Games, Prom Photo... PLUS MUCH, MUCH MORE! Also, the South-Florida Christian Homeschool Prom is the host of the annual Florida Prom King, Queen and Royal Court Election!.
Music
Each year the prom commitee compiles a music list, which is played throughout the evening by the live DJ. This list typically consists of non-offensive contemporary music, oldies, classics, Christian rock, and other genres.
Also, we host various parties throughout the year which include dance lessons. This way, everyone who attends prom can have a few dance moves in their repertoire..

Who I'd like to meet: The Florida Homeschool Prom (originally known as the South-Floirda Christian Homeschool Prom) is an annual formal event open to students ages 14 and older. Each year, homeschoolers and their friends, virtual school students, and homeschool alumni from all over Florida enjoy an elegant night of dancing, fellowship, and fun.
The founders of the Florida Homeschool Prom have been organizing proms for homeschooled students for over ten years. Each year a prom committee is established, which is made up of homeschooled students. These students, while working under the guidance of volunteer adults, coordinate all aspects of our prom

The 2009 Florida Homeschool Prom is promising to be the most exciting of our annual events to date! We are very happy to announce more tickets have been purchased already for this year's prom compared to this same time of the year for ALL past proms!
Just a reminder that discounted tickets sales "officially" ended Satruday, February 28th, but you can still order your prom tickets at the current discounted rate for as long as this pricing is reflected on the prom's web site at www. floridahomeschoolprom. com.

During the 2009 Florida Homeschool Prom, which will be held from 7:30pm-11:30pm on Friday, May 29, 2009, there will be a video acknowledging all graduating seniors attending this year's prom and a presentation to each participating senior. (The cost is $10.00 in addition to the price of your prom ticket.

Rio Vista Church is located about 1 mile south of "the tunnel" and is on the northeast corner of South Federal Highway and SE 9th Street.
