About me: Florida Singles Dance is an organization whose goal is to provide single men & women a
place to meet & socialize with other singles in South Florida. Dances are held
2 - 3 times a month in Broward & Palm Beach Counties. By attending our dances,
singles 35 – 65+ will have the opportunity to mingle with other positive people,
meet new friends, enjoy themselves, exchange contact information, & perhaps the
chance to meet that “Special Someone".
Florida Singles Dance is not affiliated with any other singles organization. No
membership fee or official membership is required. Our dances are held in
smoke-free ballrooms rather than smoky bars used by other singles clubs. The
dress code is “Business Casual”. No shorts or jeans are allowed. We welcome
singles, as well as couples of all faiths to our dances. We welcome all good &
decent people who believe in America’s traditional valuesWe have over
200 people attend each dance. Our dances normally start off with a slow dance
mixer, which gives people a chance to meet & dance with several people. The
mixer is much like musical chairs. Men & women dance for short intervals, and
then the women switch to the next partner. With each switch you will get the
opportunity to meet someone new!Admission to
our dance is only $14.00. We have a raffle at every dance. Everyone will
receive a raffle ticket with their admission. Our cash bar is always open with
a selection of alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages. Over the coarse of the
night our Interactive Disc Jockey will play a wide variety of music including
Slow Songs, Current Dance Hits, Disco, Cha-Cha, Big Band, Swing, Hustle, Latin &
Meringue, Waltz, Rumba, Classic Rock & Roll, Polka, as well as Fun & Interactive
Line Dances. If
you decide to come to one of our dances remember our golden rule: Just say
“YES” when someone asks you to dance…Remember it is just a dance not a lifetime
