Kevin Palys, a Chicago native, received his BA in English, Political Science and Humanities from Valparaiso University. After graduation, he earned his MA in the Social Sciences from The University of Chicago. One year later, he went on to graduate studies at USC School of Cinematic Arts, enrolling in the MFA film production program.

After his first year at USC, he directed, photographed and produced GLASS DESERT--a digital independent feature. During 2003, Kevin went on to work at Mosaic Media Group in both story development and talent management. In spring 2004, Kevin transitioned to Paramount Studios where he now works for Entertainment Tonight.

Thereafter, his current project, FLOURISH, was optioned by London-based Golden Globe winning distrib Swipe Films. His financing & production company, PettingZoo Pictures LLC, co-produced FLOURISH with Symbolic Entertainment. FLOURISH had its World Premiere at top-ten Cinequest Film Festival 2006 and screened at the Cannes Film Market 2006.

Kevin lives in Los Angeles, is married to a doctor and is 30 years old.
