Flowerfield Arts Centre is the north coast's most dynamic and well-equipped arts venues. re-opened in 2004 after a major refurbishment, the centre hosts three terms of Creative Classes for adults each year, in addition to over a dozen concerts a year and a number of children's events.
The beautiful galleries in the restored Georgian building host excellent exhibitions throughout the year in a range of media. The auditorium hosts concerts by some of the leading classical, jazz and folk musicians in the world, and the craft studios are home to emerging talents, who provide work for sale in the retail shop at reception.
Tea, coffee and light snacks are available for visitors. The centre is open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday and from 12noon to 4pm every Saturday. Admission is free.
