Flowers From The Man Who Shot Your Cousin is
essentially Morgan Caris. For a good many years now he has been writing
and recording songs, some of which have been released on lps
and compilations mostly in Spain and Japan, but *Hapless* is the first solo album of his to see the light of dusk.
* Hapless * WR-02
Released in the Spring on Waterhouse Records in France, it has been said to be a stark and arguably intense piece of work.
Reminiscent of early Leonard Cohen or late Nick Drake records, for its soft melodies, quiet guitars and bare arrangements, it also evokes Smog or the Silver Jews for its bone dry and sometimes darkly sarcastic lyrics.
Also, listen to WNYC's
Spinning On Air episode about the album

Last.fm page for more songs and downloads.

Flowers From The Man Who Shot Your Cousin's Friend Space (Top 28)
Flowers From The Man Who Shot Your Cousin has 1826 friends.

oh my god, i am so honored to have you as my first comment and add. *wibble*
"lay down your arms" was in a mix tape i received last week, given to me in honor of my first broken heart, and it really inspired me to start writing again. when i looked at your myspace i was genuinely shocked that you didn't have millions of friends and song plays. i've been recommending you to everybody i know; you're the kind of talent that should be hugely famous. just saying.
Yup, I'm blowing green stuff every which way. But I get to stay home, sleep, practice the piano, and write more songs! As long as I don't try to sing above an A below middle C, I'm fine!
Glad you guys made it back alright. It was great having you here and I'll be happy when we can meet again.
