Flowers From The Man Who Shot Your Cousin is
essentially Morgan Caris. For a good many years now he has been writing
and recording songs, some of which have been released on lps
and compilations mostly in Spain and Japan, but *Hapless* is the first solo album of his to see the light of dusk.

Released in the Spring on Waterhouse Records in France, it has been said to be a stark and arguably intense piece of work.
Reminiscent of early Leonard Cohen or late Nick Drake records, for its soft melodies, quiet guitars and bare arrangements, it also evokes Smog or the Silver Jews for its bone dry and sometimes darkly sarcastic lyrics.

Petit rappel du concept : pour ces rendez-vous trimestriels, Pollyanna et Reza ouvrent la soirée en acoustique avec 3 morceaux chacun, avant le laisser la place à un invité venu d'ailleurs pour un full-show unique.
Pour cette 5e édition, nous avons la joie d'accueillir V.O. , projet de Boris Gromberger, guitariste de Françoiz Breut, batteur de Soy un Caballo et fer de lance de l'excellent label belge Matamore.
Le Vieux Léon, c'est sympa, bien situé (métro Etienne Marcel, rue de la Grande Truanderie), l'entrée est gratuite et c'est toujours entre 20h30 et 22h00.
Un peu paradoxalement, Reza Hatami est un musicien né en Orient (en Iran) mais qui ne rêve que des grands espaces de l'Ouest. Avec des musiciens parfaitement choisis (Boris Kohlmayer alias Lauter à la guitare ; Pierre-Jean Grappin, ex Holden, à la batterie et Gonzague Octaville à la contrebasse), il sort un deuxième album qui sent la poussière et nous transporte dans les grands espaces désertiques des Etats-Unis. Reza est donc désormais un vrai groupe de pop-folk qui n'a rien à envier à ses homologues d'Outre-Atlantique. Comme son nom l'indique, Moonless est un album à écouter par une nuit sans lune.

"La Casa degli Artisti", venne costruita nel 1911 per ospitare studi di artisti (tra gli altri, Fabro, Buzzati, Ferroni e Chet Baker). Chi la abitava l'ha mantenuta in piedi, curata e animata. Dal 20 settembre 2007 è abbandonata e desolata a seguito dello sgombero ordinato dal Comune di Milano.
"La Casa degli Artisti" - literally the "House of Artists" - was built in 1911 in order to host some artists' studios (among them, Fabro, Buzzati, Ferroni, and Chet Baker). The people who lived in it kept it running, well-groomed and animated. Since September 20th 2007 it has been neglected and deserted, as Milan's municipality ordered its evacuation.
