Floyd Soul & The Wolf play rock and roll stripped back to the basics. They’ve got stomping bass lines, and harmonies that hit you like a cannonball- not to mention a front man that can mesmerize a crowd with equal parts arrogance and charm.
Since winning the National Student Music Awards in 2008 the band have released two successful singles and toured the length and breadth of the country,playing to many capacity crowds and gaining a greater fan base.
The band have recently returned from recording their debut album in Nashville Tennessee where the likes of Kings of Leon,Neil Young and Jonny Cash had recorded some of their best work.
The album was recorded with Nanci Griffith producer Thomm Jutz and details on the records release to be announced on a later date.
Furthermore, about their live shows Hotpress Magazine say: “Floyd Soul & The Wolf play as if all our very lives depended on it, and when was the last time you could say that about any Irish band?"
So be sure to catch them in your neck of the woods soon.

Anyway, very nice name. So much better than a depressed teenager band Strung Out Sucide. Reminds me of a mythical story book where perhaps a dragon talks.... Just a small little thought.
