About me: Florida has been home to several diverse ska scenes over the years. In the past 20 years, with third wave ska's peak of popularity in the 90's, several Florida ska bands have become popular globally and have brought the spotlight to their respective scenes. In other cases the ska scenes of Florida towns have faded and all that remains are good memories. This profile is dedicated to the thriving and struggling scenes alike. May bands like Magadog, The Usuals, Against All Authority, Skif Dank, Majik Dirt and Pork Pie Tribe be remembered as they are the inspiration for many current bands and the soul of the Florida ska scene.
