Born Lee Prince Jr. Flud started off learning the hard way. Raised in Fort Smith Arkansas Flud began rapping at the age of 11 in school talent shows and just about any place that would allow it.
Being shifted from school to school do to bad behavior, It wasn't until the age of 15 that Flud decided to do music for God. If it weren’t for the grace of god through Christ, I almost guarantee you, I would not be here, says Flud. Looking up to a local rap group, Flud decided to step out and try a music career.
In 1997 Flud formed a group called SCK (southernchristianklique) which later founded members such Mike Shelton, Soufland, Tripple Threat and several others. After many members decided to switch their genre, Flud, fellow member k-DuBB former member of Soufland Clippa and Shirlandria made the discussion to parts ways. Hip Hop is one of the most influential forms of music and I refuse to water mine down, says Flud. Flud’s mission is to make great music that you can ride to and still be educated about Christ.
