Mz. Starr. I am a solo artist. If you want to see who else played on my debut record "Come On!" -- that info is at the official website and on the CD sleeve. Check it out!
Influences
Sci-Fi. Art. Science. Technology. Life. The Queen Bee herself: Dame Shirley Bassey. The REAL bands of today and yesterday who write and perform their own music, incl: No Doubt, Garbage, Orgy, Marilyn Manson, Linkin Park, NIN, HIM, Celldweller, Bif Naked, A Perfect Circle, Rammstein, Sneakerpimps, Curve, Republica, Ulver, Guns'n'Roses, Alice In Chains, Duran Duran, The Eurythmics, Madonna, etc. Also old movie starlets like Raquel Welch, and Julie Newmar. They had a unique fierceness and magic that is seldom seen today. I am often influenced by the way they looked and dressed. The hair and makeup etc. I like to combine yesterday with -- not today, but tomorrow. That's just the way I roll, I guess. ;D
Sounds Like
Fluffy [f**king] Starr!!! Queen of the Universe! ;p
WHO AM I?
Where have YOU been? I'm Fluffy Starr! I'm an Electro-Rock Artist from Vancouver, Canada. (No, we don't live in igloos.) I am a singer/songwriter, producer/engineer/programmer. Yeah, I can handle myself in the studio. And even more so on stage. I can do it all. Why not?
WHAT IS MY MUSIC ABOUT? It's all about creating music that I like. So I got a talented group of musicians together, and did it. I don't want to sound like anyone else, or please any audience. This is strictly for me. If you like it, good. If not, I don't care. Next!
WHAT ARE MY INTERESTS? Boys, music, writing, shopping, art, kissing, diamonds, eating, singing, dancing, makeup, cartoons, fashion, science fiction and horror movies, and being a f**king princess. Did I miss anything? What else is there?!
EXTRA STARR STUFF. I've written 15 full-length novels about fukt up people in fukt up situations for fun. (And no, you can't read them.) I'm also a makeup artist and ex-model, but I decided to become a musician instead. (Wow, my parents are proud.) Ummm, what else can I tell? I have appeared on 3 songs on Celldweller's self-titled debut CD. And 1 song (and 1 remix) on Dead Inside The Chrysalis' "Humanoid Expansion Pack."

Strange day. After watching a documentary about streakers suffering from over exposure, I took a nap. It was a short one. I woke up a midget. At first I was freaking out, jumping around, trying to reach the wall phone. It tired me out. So I sat on a foot stool and placed my face in my hands wondering why this had happened to me. In the middle of self-pitying I started noticing how much fun it was to kick and swing my feet. I was smiling again, and found myself running through the house at full speed... wrestling with my now giant puppy. Oh, the joy! I hadn't had so much fun in years! We laughed and played and laughed until we both fell asleep exhausted on the living room floor. Then I woke up and ruined the whole damned thing.
I haven't forgot about you fluffster. hug. Hope your doing well in Vancouver and I might be moving more up north here in the near future to get out of my stale area.
