"The Flukes, schooled in old-school Bean Town punk; showed themselves to be excellent songwriters in addition to having the anger and rage rooted in the genre" - Christian Henderson (Bodog)
"If you're looking for some great punk rock, then look no further than RI's own - The Flukes." -Ben Watkins (localbandsri.com)
Forming in spring 2002 The Flukes pretty much played music for anyone, anywhere, anytime, in the area for 5 years without a break. Playing crowded basement shows by the week end and crashing other high schools shows any chance they got, it was something to really be apart of or see. Recording 3 studio albums and an EP and even getting a little air time on the radio’s local music slots The Flukes played their part in the RI Punk scene and loved every second of it. In winter 2007 The Flukes put an end to an era and called it quits.
our sixth cd "the kids are alright" is being released in CT on NOV. 28 at the EL-N-GEE in NEW LONDON (ALL AGES) and in MASS on DEC. 5 at LONDON BILLIARDS in WORCESTER (18+)!!!!

I miss you guys. I still listen to "Back Where I Started" a wicked lot. And the shows were so much fun. You guys should play a few shows over the summer just for old times sake. Flukes shows were the best ever.
