Im sorry to say that we have decided to call it a day.
I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported us throughout our time together. At the end of the day, if you guys had a good time at the gigs then it was all worth it.
Take it easy guys, enjoy ya life!

Based in Bristol and the surrounding, we are a five strong circle of school friends who formed a band in 2003.
On the Myspace you can listen to some tracks from our album “Ride the chariot”. A fourteen track album of some of our older material which was recorded in spring 2006. However it must be said that this does not represent our current work. We have featured in Bristol Venue magazine who reviewed us at a recent show; “Flukestar are a shockingly young, with strong songs, outrageously precocious musicianship with a very keen audience!”
Within the five years together we have played at a great number of events, ranging from Private Parties through to Main Stage festivals. We have played at numerous legendary venues all across the UK including The Cavern Club. They also have supported many well known acts live including Alphabeat, Palladium, Madness and Bad Manners. More recently we have also opened for the Rock & Roll Charity festival which featured The Sugababes, Status Quo and more. Their ethos is to play every performance they play with the same enthusiasm and level of energy regardless.
We're setting off into the sunset on a mini tour of the south west in December and we'd love to see you at one of our shows.
The Bell, Bath, Wednesday 2nd December Dartington College, Totnes, Thursday 3rd December Eden Project, Nr St Austell, Fri 4th December
It'll be the last chance to catch us play before we go into hibernation to record our new album at the beginning of the new year...we may even give you a sneaky taster of what's in store. So please come down and experience us lifting the roof in a proper stomping party style.
Fresh from our 23 date UK festival tour, we're hitting the Autumn hard this weekend with a couple of wicked gigs. The first is with UK ska legends BIG HAND at HOOTANANNYS, Brixton this Fri 2nd Oct and it's completely FREE to get in! We're on at 9.30. Then we're off to Bristol playing sat 3rd at THE FIDDLERS with our festi companions and probably the fattest sounding band you'll ever witness, THE GENTLEMENS DUB CLUB.
Hey! Appologies if this is the second comment we've sent you recently...bit of a mix up in the bands communication :)
Anyway.. we've been a little quiet for the last few months but we are very pleased to announce our new EP is finished and up on our myspace! It's called Bright Lights and has four brand spanking new tracks to blow your mind. Please have a listen and tell us what you think and if you love it, buy it! :)
Details of how to apply for this years festival can be found in our blog or on our website. Check it out!
We'll be hosting our first fundraising party of the year at the end of the month! You'll get to spend the evening in the company of The Ten Pound Suit Band as they rip through a set of non-stop, rebel rousing fun!
That's right! "The best swingabilly band in town!"
