Among all of the smoldering ash and ruin lies death, and where death lies, life begins...
Flux is the continuation of many ideas, hopes and dreams. It's a constant flow of creativity in the form of music from a constant flow of energy between 4 individuals. What once was known as Empire of Ruin or E.O.R has now evolved and changed into something more...
Returning from the original lineup (Ex Omnipresent, Empire of Ruin)- Chris Aguilar (Guitars, Vox) & (Ex Heir to the Arsonist, Empire of Ruin)- TJ Opheikens (Bass, Backing vox)
Together they have reformed with drummer Josh Bowden (Ex We Sail at Dawn/Behold the Requiem) and vocalist Zac Muse (Ex Angelic Deficiency *Colorado*) to continue the message and musical direction that they see fit. Combining styles and influences of Southern Metal, Thrash Metal, Progressive and Groove Metal, their main goal is to create MUSIC not only for metal lovers but music lovers of all kind.
"This ain't no scene band, no pussy metal. The scene is dead, and we're glad. We're not doing this for any other reason than wanting to create the music we feel is necessary and worthwhile. This is an evolution in every members' musical sense and a breath of fresh air to the current music scene ." - Flux
"Any fans of Omnipresent, Empire of Ruin, Heir to the Arsonist, Angelic Deficiency, Behold the Requiem or just metal fans in general; southern, black, death, etc. are MAJORLY encouraged to check out this project!"
- 06/01/2009 After a 3 month delay the 4 track demo entitled (Into the Flood) which would have been released under Empire of Ruin is STILL scheduled to be release for the end of June or beginning of July. It will feature all current members input as much as can be until the next release.
hey WHAT IS UP FLUX!! ITS TYLER FROM THAT OLD BAND AT BEGINNINGS END! just wondering are you guys still playing? Anyways I have a new project with two of the old members "STILLETO and DANO' just wondering if you guys wanna set up a show shortly?
So... when I was with Angelic Deficiency, I wrote a song called Turtles All the Way Down. It was one of our first songs. Guess what Every Time I Die's #7 track on their new album is called... Turtles All the Way Down. Guess what they were going to call the album but changed it for unknown reasons... Turtles All the Way Down. This could be called a coincidence, seeing as how I got the name from a book, and it probably is... but these are the guys that named their band after a Children of Bodom song. I never liked that fucking band anyway.
yo josho, its conner. Me and Nate got a new blackened death project goin calle contagion of christ. once we get a couple songs togeteher with the new dude i was wonderin if we could do a show together? i dig the tunes bro :)
