Welcome to the Official MySpace page for Flyers Skate Zone. Here you will find information on upcoming events, program announcements, and information on the Philadelphia Flyers and Philadelphia Phantoms!
Flyers Skate Zone has four locations in the greater Philadelphia area; Atlantic City, N.E. Philadelphia, Pennsauken, and Voorhees. Virtua Center Flyers Skate Zone at Voorhees is the official training and practice facility of the Philadelphia Flyers (NHL) and Philadelphia Phantoms (AHL). Flyers Skate Zone offers Learn-To-Play Hockey and Learn-To-Skate lessons for people of all ages as well as daily public skating and several other clinics and hockey leagues! Voorhees even has a roller rink!

TEAM COMCAST GOES TO NATIONALS!!!
3 Team Comcast Hockey teams will be heading to Nationals on April 1st to compete against the countries best. The Banatam Majors, Peewee Majors and U16 Nationals will all be headed to their respected tournaments with their eyes set on a National Championship.
The Bantams will be playing in Plano, Texas, The U16 Nationals in Chesterfield, Missouri and The Peewees in Indian Trail, North Carolina. All games will be held from April 1 through April 5!!!
PHILADELPHIA FLYERS ROLLER HOCKEY CAMP!!
Come on down to the Flyers Skate Zone at Voorhees, NJ from July 6th - July 10th, 2009 for the Philadelphia Flyers Roller Hockey Camp!!! The camp is open to children between the ages of 7 and 14. A daily schedule at the camp will look similar to this:
8:45AM - Arrive at rink
9:00AM - On floor instruction
10:45AM - Classroom/Flyers Rookie Camp
12:00PM - Lunch
12:45PM - Dry Land Training
1:30PM - Roller hockey instruction
All campers will recieve 15 hours of roller hockey training, 2.5 hours of classroom time, 5 hours of dry land training, a camp jersey and a report card!
Cost of the camp is $199 for the full week

PUBLIC SKATING
Come out and experience our NEW and IMPROVED weekend public skating sessions!
During our Friday night, Saturday and Sunday sessions, skaters will be entertained by our live DJ and light show, and will win great prizes by answering trivia questions or winning one of our on-ice, interactive games!
Our Game Zone has a variety of today's newest video games, as well as Flyers Air Hockey, Bubble Hockey, 76ers Pop-a-shot and many more! And for our hungry skaters, our Snack Zone offers a variety of menu items, including pizza, chicken fingers, cheesesteaks, fries and much more!

Invest in Your Children’s Future with our Learn to Skate program! The Learn To Skate program is a beginner Ice Skating program. The lessons include 30 minutes of instruction and 30 minutes of free skate. The investment is only $120 for a 6 week session. Our Learn to Play Hockey program teaches the fundamental skills of skating, puck handling, passing, and shooting. While providing the participant with the opportunity to develop confidence and a positive self-image while experiencing achievement throughout the program.
