About me: For 25 years, I have been fishing the East Coast of Central Florida; specifically, the area known as Mosquito Lagoon. I started like many others, chasing redfish and trout with conventional tackle. My grandfather taught me everything, which has brought me lots of success. When I was 14, I saw a show on fly fishing the Mosquito Lagoon for redfish. That sparked my interest and a conversation with my grandfather. For my 15th birthday, they bought me my first fly rod. After a lot of mishaps, practice and missed fish, I finally landed my first redfish on fly. Since then, it has been my passion. I now manage The Fly Fisherman, Central Florida's oldest and most prestigious fly shop. When not working there, or spending time with the family, I enjoy guiding people to redfish, trout, snook and tarpon. Whether you want to fish from the finest technical poling boat (16' Gordon Boatworks Waterman) or you wish to try kayak fishing, I will give you the experience of a lifetime, hunting fish in the beautiful Mosquito Lagoon.
