Flyght is a band on the rise out of the small town of Monongahela, PA. The group began in 2003 with Jeremy Menzer on drums and Jesse Weygandt on lead guitar and splitting vocals. After playing together for some time, the group acquired rhythm guitarist Jeff Giovanucci and bassist Corey Hillman before playing their first show as a group. In 2006, after a few years of jamming together, the group recruited keyboardist Cory Young and vocalist Aaron Duda. Since then the band has made a few more changes to their lineup, losing Young and Hillman, and acquiring current bassist Alan Ashcraft. They have also been causing a buzz on the local bar scene, playing for packed bars in the Mon Valley. They are on the rise and are showing no signs of slowing down. Expect to see them in larger venues some time very soon.
