FLYING COLORS started in 1990 as an acoustic trio, morphed into a six-piece electric band in 1991, and quickly began drawing attention from a loyal and growing audience. Suddenly, the band was working almost non-stop -- playing 20 nights a month, from Central PA to Philly to Baltimore & Washington DC to the Poconos, and everywhere in between. After a hiatus in the late '90's, FLYING COLORS is back doing a handful of dates each year, but sounding better than ever.
Performance credits include billing with Merl Saunders, Donna Jean & the Tricksters, Jefferson Airplane, Rusted Root, and Juggling Suns -- at venues such as the Whitaker Center, Little Buffalo Arts Festival, Levitt Pavilion, the York Fair, countless clubs and bars, and SHARE Festival -- where they have been the house band for nearly 20 years.
